Park City Iron Mountain
November 20, 2019Park City Iron Mountain
Scott met these clients 10 years ago when they purchased their lot and asked him what he would design. Well 10 years later, his original concept for the lot is finally coming to fruition with a completion date the Fall of 2020. The design started as a more traditional concept and then the client asked Scott what he would want the exterior to look like if it were his home. Scott won them over with a contemporary design that takes advantage of the views up to Iron Mountain while the front deck cantilevers over a stream. The home was designed for empty nesters that work from the house with plenty of room for visiting friends and family. Due to the steepness of the site, this 6,600 square foot, 4 bedroom, 6 bathroom home was designed on three levels, with the master suite occupying the entire top floor. This client allowed us to test out several new features we have been itching to incorporate into our designs, like a glass wine closet as a room divider and a banquette carved into the kitchen island.
