Naples Florida

Every now and again clients become great friends, and that is exactly what happened after Scot designed a home for these clients in Deer Valley. Three years later they reached out to Scott to design a home in Naples, Florida. They wanted their home to have a Florida vernacular feel on the exterior while creating a more open, clean and fun design on the inside. Being situated in Port Royal with more than 160 feet of water frontage on the bay, gave us an amazing backdrop to design a 6,800 square foot, 5 bedroom, 8 bath home for them and their three grown daughters. In addition to being good friends and great clients, their oldest daughter has just starting her career as an interior designer and has amazing aesthetic and we have worked on several projects together. The owners reached out to Scott, because they felt none of the Architects in Naples understood the traditional Florida vernacular feel they remembered from their childhood. Being that Scott was raised in Florida, he was able to share his designs and concepts of Florida vernacular architecture they wanted for their home. The final design is one that maximizes the views while creating the vernacular feel the clients desired. Again, as with all of our designs, the exterior spaces are an integral part of the overall Architecture as is the overall site design of the home. Completion planned for 2020.
