More than a remodel, this 5,000 square foot home enjoyed a reinvention for the 21st century. Jaffa dismantled the original 1980’s structure down to the studs. Out with closed, dark interiors and in with a brighter, open, loft-like feel, creating a modern, connected flow from the living room through to dining and kitchen spaces into the family room. An open-tread steel staircase featuring a custom railing offers a visual highlight elegantly connecting the upper and lower levels. An airy new column design replaced heavy log elements while sleek glass and steel cabinetry and larger windows similarly added refreshed functionality.
