White Pine Canyon I

May 15, 2014

Setting a new standard for contemporary mountain architecture, White Pine Canyon I takes its design cues from the aspen trees surrounding the five-acre property at the Canyons ski resort.

The master bedroom – one of 5 bedrooms – feels like a tree house while the soaring rooflines mimic the nearby mountains. Exposed steel elements and metal siding along the hallway from the garage to the 6,800 square-foot home are a nod to modern style as well as Park City’s old mining structures.

Complete with 7 baths, an office and a gym, this utterly private hideaway is tucked behind a stone wing wall offering magnificent views to its residents, but no prying eyes from the street.

Interiors in collaboration with Scott Jaffa and Kristin Rocke.
