“We wouldn't hesitate for a second to build with Scott and Richard Jaffa again! Our recent design / build experience with Jaffa Group has been stellar down to the tiniest of details! One of our biggest challenges (obsessions really!) was fast tracking our project so that we wouldn't miss the next ski season. We fully designed the house with Scott by the time we closed on the lot (3 months), broke ground in September of 08 the week after closing, and Jaffa Group met our challenge and delivered our beautiful mountain home 15 months later (December 09). On the architectural design and finish side of things, Scott offered great ideas and direction. He worked fast, he was very responsive to our questions, ideas, input, and he allowed us to build 'our' house. On the other hand, he didn't ever hesitate to voice his opinion and stick to his guns when he felt strongly about something. We often noticed along the way that due to his acute sense of quality and attention to detail, he reworked things, sometimes un-blatant things...behind walls, in the ground, in the systems...which a lay person might not ever notice. We also noticed that the trades-people, most of whom had long standing relationships with Scott and Richard, responded swiftly and professionally during problem solving scenarios and changes in direction.
There was an obvious mutual respect amongst the whole building team.
