ONE Wasatch

18,000 acres. 100 lifts. 1 pass.

Utah's central Wasatch Mountains are home to seven world class mountain resorts, each with its own distinct personality, but all located within unique proximity to one another. Connecting these resorts over the snow via chairlift and ski run would provide a skiing and riding experience like none other in North America, allowing access to 18,000 skiable acres, 100 lifts and more than 750 runs...all on one lift ticket.

ONE Wasatch is a concept, not a plan. At this time, resort partners have no specific execution timelines or chairlift alignments. The goal of ONE Wasatch is to establish a vision for a one-of-a-kind mountain experience by providing information, outlining the process, encouraging dialog and listening to feedback.

Interiors

A New Trend in Kitchens.

A trend that we are seeing in kitchens is a monochromatic color scheme with small pops of color. In this kitchen we have white cabinetry with a white Calcutta marble countertop. The solid feel of the cabinet color contrasts nicely with the veining and movement throughout the marble countertops. To accentuate the backsplash a light gray glass tile was used. This not only brings in a touch of color but helps to break up the otherwise white color pallet. This style is more traditional but provides a soft backdrop in which you can add almost any pop of color that you want.

Architectural Feature

Glass roof tiles let a little sunshine in to cut heating bills.

Swedish company, Soltech Energy, recently received the gold medal for this year's hottest new material at the Nordbygg 2010 trade fair in Stockholm, Sweden. The award was fitting because it was for the company's home heating system that features roof tiles made out of glass. The tiles, which are made from ordinary glass, weigh about the same as the clay roof tiles they replace but allow the sun to heat air that is then used to heat the house and cut energy bills.

Testimonial

“10 years ago you built my home for me and it was clear from the outset that you really cared about the project. You worked with my architect and me from afar, you found the finest craftsmen and the result was stunning. What impressed me the most was that for months after I moved in Richard would appear every morning to tweak all the little things that always need adjusting. CARE is the word that stands out the most when I think of you. You all cared that my house turned out beautifully. You still do. Whenever I want to do something to the house or have a problem, I know I can turn to you for help, advice or an answer. And of course no corner was ever cut. Everything was done perfectly. It was a pleasure to work with you and to have become personal friends with you.”
