Los Angeles Times

Improvements in
Housing Help Drive US Economy

New York Times

Gains in housing and manufacturing propelled the nation's economy over the winter, according to reports released. And analysts say they point to the resilience of consumers and businesses as government spending cuts take effect.

Home prices rose 8.1 percent in January, the fastest annual rate since the peak of the housing boom in summer 2006. Demand for longer-lasting factory goods increased 5.7 percent in February, the biggest gain in five months.

Interiors

As the spring flowers begin blooming, we are inspired by color.

Locally sourced materials and the incorporation of Park City's mining heritage set the stage for a mostly rustic environment. We prefer to use natural, neutral tones in our homes as they stand the test of time.

There is a definite shift in the design landscape — evolving into a more streamlined and sleek appearance. This movement has created a departure from the typically muddy accent colors, and we are experiencing refreshingly bright new colors. We prefer to infuse these colors sparingly, so our interiors flow with our spectacular landscapes. But just like the spring flowers, these colors are bringing a new light into our interior spaces.

Testimonial

“The Jaffa Group is hands down the best company to design and build a custom home in Park City. Scott and Richard do what they say, when they say and have a level of integrity that is often missing in this industry. We had never built a custom home before and had heard horror stories from our friends about the building process. We selected the Jaffa Group to design and build our home and the process was easy, fun, on time, and most importantly, on budget. Our friend's were amazed at how easy the process was for us and at the quality of the finished product. Scott has an amazing talent and love for architecture/design and it shows in the finished product. We highly recommend the Jaffa Group if you are looking to build a custom home.”
