Terry Petrie

Terry started his construction career right after High School by working as a union laborer in a hydro-electric power plant tunnel. Then, he got into home building as a framer. Terry moved from his home town in California to work in the high production, tract house building environment of the Phoenix area.

This is where the story starts to get really good!

Terry moved to Utah in 1992 with his wife and young daughter to be near his wife's family. The second week that he was here he started to work with a small company, SBC, that he eventually worked with for 18 years. Terry's responsibilities grew along with the size of SBC and he was promoted to Vice President of Operations for that local builder. During that time he led crews that worked on many multi-million $$ custom homes, and commercial buildings. Terry's crews became proficient at custom home framing. Building custom features in these homes, such as, floating curved stairways, curved timber trusses, radius steel beams, radius roofs, domed ceilings, etc. Those crews gained a reputation in the Park City, Holladay, and Salt Lake areas for high quality work, completed on schedule.

Terry is happy to be a part of the Jaffa Group! He always strives to provide their customers with a home of the highest quality possible, while providing them with great service.

When Terry is not on the job site he might be found at the river fly-fishing, playing racquetball, hiking in the mountains or just hanging out around the house with his wife and two daughters.
